Queen Elsa Sensory Bin

One of the things I really liked about this Letter Q unit is that I was able to repurpose preschooler with queen elsa sensory binmost of the materials throughout all of our projects. I put this sensory bin together as the final activity of the week, and it was a big hit. Audra loved going through this Queen Elsa Sensory Bin finding “treasures” and then cleaning them off. I used a large bin with a lid that was intended for under bed storage. It has low sides and is a good size for multiple kids to participate. In addition to the marshmallows, gems, glitter, sequins, and Frozen figures we used throughout the rest of the week, I also threw in a bag of frozen Epsom salt.  I made it cold by throwing it in the freezer for a few hours. This definitely isn’t a requirement for this to be a successful and fun activity, but it did add another interesting sensory experience. As you can see in the pictures, I also added some tools that we use with our water beads for some added fine motor practice.
